Mindfulness Sessions




There is an increasing interest around how mindfulness can help in the workplace. These sessions are designed to help your workforce find balance and reduce stress, which lead to fewer stress related absences and a calmer working environment. One of the most effective ways of learning about the benefits of mindfulness is through a taster session. During a session employees will be introduced to what mindfulness is and what it is not, how it has impacted my life and the changes it has made to me, we will go through several mindfulness exercises, leaving participants with practical exercises that they can use during their working day.

Wellbeing for your staff is key in today’s hectic workplace; this mindfulness experience introduces mindfulness to your staff; offering them stress reducing techniques that they can take into the workplace and also their personal lives.  This session is an hour and a half and offers an understanding as to what mindfulness is, why we practice it and the opportunity to sit in practices: contact me for further information. In addition these sessions can also cover how to take mindfulness into the classroom on a daily basis, offering a set of building blocks and instructions for sharing mindfulness with children, allowing children to benefit from even a small dose of mindfulness. Mindfulness within the classroom can be very beneficial for students. I have taken my mindfulness training to put together a tool box of exercises that students can use to help with an array of issues.  Mindful awareness helps students with self-regulation, optimism and planning and organisational skills. This practice has seen children report feeling calmer, more confident and able to better handle the ups and downs of relationships.

The mindfulness tool box can also help improve concentration, as paying attention is core to the practices. Students are more able to manage stress and anxiety due to being more aware of the mind and how it thinks. Within all the practices we do there is a strong emphasis on kindness to oneself, and ultimately this increases kindness and compassion to others.

Mindfulness Sessions in Schools

This session gives you the chance to offer sessions given by myself an experienced mindfulness practitioner to either small groups or classes on a regular basis, mindfulness is shown to have amazing benefits but needs to be practised on a regular basis with someone who has a deep personal practice.

There is also the opportunity to add in another great self help tool for children EFT (emotional freedom technique) this is a simple and easy technique that anyone can use even young children to help regulate the nervous system, the process is tapping on acupuncture points and gives the children a very accessible tool to help them feel better in a relatively sort time.

Mindfullness Sessions Weekly Sit

Weekly sitting groups will be held in the beautiful healing space of the Teepee.

Weekly meditation sitting group Tuesday and Wednesday 6.30pm – 8pm.

The main emphasis of this session is on guided mindfulness practices, with the chance for discussion and inquiry at the end of the session. These sessions are suitable for those who have completed an 8 week program either with myself or another provider and wish to practice within a small group setting, on a regular basis. They are held in the beautiful teepee space, no prior experience is necessary (max 7-8 people).

Four week block booking £40.00 (priority booking goes to those already attending.)

Please note pre-payment is required for these classes and they are non-refundable unless exceptional circumstances.


Sometimes life just gets too busy to fit into a group practice or an 8 week program, or maybe you would feel more comfortable discussing and practicing on a one-to-one basis. EFT or often referred to as psychological acupressure. works by releasing blockages within the energy system which can be the source of emotional discomfort; we often hold self-limiting beliefs which impact on us living life harmoniously.

An EFT treatment involves the use of fingertips rather than needles to tap on the end points of energy meridians located just beneath the surface of the skin.  The treatment is becoming more and more popular within the medical circles as well as a range of psychotherapies and healing disciplines.
