Are you looking for change? Have you had enough of your mind running the show? Can you see how your mind sabotages you but you don’t know how to be any other way? Are you looking to feel happier, calmer, less stressed and generally more balanced emotionally and mentally? If that’s a HELL YES then I cant wait to introduce you to this course. Mindfulness has a proven track record in re-wiring the mind for change; and this Mindfulness Based Living course content has been expertly put together by the Mindfulness Association and is based on the University of Aberdeen’s MSc Studies in Mindfulness Curriculum.
I see and hear the life-changing results that this course has had for the Participants, from being less reactive in home/work/life situations, to taking control back in their lives.
I have trained with the Mindfulness Association to teach the 8-week MBLC so you can rest in the knowledge that you are supported by a fully trained teacher who is aware of trauma sensitivity within the practice and fully embodies mindfulness. If you are struggling with your overthinking mind, maybe feelings of anxiety, fear, depressive episodes, or ruminating over past events, worrying about the future, or you feel a sense of dissatisfaction in your life, or maybe you have practiced mindfulness on your own via an app but want to dive a little deeper, then this course is a must for you.
Below, are just some of the benefits that participants have reported, as a result of completing the course:
- Feeling more relaxed calm and content
- A reduction in anxiety and depressive episodes
- Improved sleep
- A better handling of the overthinking mind
- Improved concentration
- Enjoying the present moment
- Less reactive and angry
- Feeling more grateful for life and the everyday things
- Deeper understanding into why their mind is the way it is and where that stems from.
This is an experiential course. The main emphasis is on mindfulness meditation practices and reflection exercises. The sessions are run on a weekly basis, for a duration of 2hrs you can opt for a group course or a 1-1 personal course. Please note there is homework in the form of mindfulness practices that participants would need to commit to (change only happens from putting the work in, there is no quick fix).
